How do I protect a media file
If you are using your Hubbli site to connect with the general public either as your main website or as a secondary website, this update is very important to you.
You probably already know that Hubbli allows you to make pages both ‘Private' (only for logged in users) and ‘Public' (for anyone), but now Hubbli allows you to protect all, or just specific media files too!
For example, let’s say you have a page that has a list of PDF documents, some of which are meant for prospective families while some are meant only for current families with a site Login. Well, now you can decide which files are ‘Protected’ and thus require a login to access.
Here’s how you do it from the Media page.
- Select the media files you want to make ‘Protected'
- Click on the ‘Bulk Actions’ drop down.
- Select ‘Add to Protected’
- Then hit 'Apply'
