Step-by-Step Guide: Setting Up Meta Business Account and Assets

Step 1: Set Up a Meta Business Account

1. Go to Meta Business Suite.

2. Click “Create Account”.

3. Enter your Business Name, your name, and business email address.

4. Click “Next”.

5. Enter your business details (address, phone number, website, etc.) and click “Submit”.

Your Meta Business Account is now created.

Step 2: Add Your Facebook Business Page

1. In Meta Business Suite, go to Business Settings → Accounts → Pages.

2. Click “Add” and choose one of the options:

3. Add a Page – if you already own the page.

4. Request Access to a Page – if the page is owned by someone else.

5. Create a New Page – if you don’t have one yet.

6. Follow the prompts to add the page.

Step 3: Create an Ad Account and Add a Payment Method

1. Go to Business Settings → Accounts → Ad Accounts.

2. Click “Add → Create a New Ad Account”.

3. Enter Ad Account Name, Time Zone, Currency, and Purpose.

4. Assign yourself or your team roles (Admin/Advertiser).

5. Click “Create”.

6. To add a payment method, go to Payment Settings → Add Payment Method and enter your card or PayPal details.

Step 4: Connect Instagram to Your Business Account

1. Go to Business Settings → Accounts → Instagram Accounts.

2. Click “Add → Connect Your Instagram Account”.

3. Log in with your Instagram credentials and click Next.

4. Assign the Instagram account to your ad account and business page.

Step 5: Create a Meta Pixel

1. Go to Business Settings → Data Sources → Pixels.

2. Click “Add → Create a Pixel”.

3. Name your Pixel and enter your website URL (optional).

4. Click “Continue”.

5. Follow instructions to install the Pixel code on your website.

Step 6: Share Assets with Business ID 258777077835752

1. Go to Business Settings → Users → Partners.

2. Click “Add → Give a partner access to your assets”.

3. Enter the Business ID: 258777077835752.

4. Assign access permissions for the following assets:

5. Facebook Page

6. Ad Account

7. Pixel

8. Click “Save Changes”.

The three assets are now shared with the partner business.
